Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. She spent the majority of her childhood listening to classic music and boleros of the past, classic ranchero or romantic music and older classical songs. Ana is a lover of tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. At the age 16, she started singing and studying the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began giving her a more intensive training in singing. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. While a young student and professional, she sang with many chamber groups and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara and Mexico City. When she moved to the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her residence in southern California. She is a frequent soloist for private events and parties singing traditional Latin American Music. She has been involved with a number of local organizations in both teaching as well as a performer due to her passion for music and arts. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing classic Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
